Our day today began with hotel breakfast, and then off to see the sights. The weather has been pretty cloudy, we are hoping for a bit of sun tomorrow. We changed plans a bit due to the weather and hit up some great places!

| Another home Luke lived in-- 720 33rd St |
| The Free Willy house! |
| This is the house Luke's father grew up in |
Right next to the house Luke's father grew up in is this house:
| The goonie house!!!! |
| The view from the Goonie house- gorgeous!!! | | | | | | |

Next was to see the Kindergarten Cop school as well as the docks. Sea lions lounge on the docks during the day. They are pretty loud and mean, but cool to see!
We then headed to Seaside, just a bit south of Astoria. We walked around town a little bit and went to the ocean. It was pretty cold!
| Luke found some chocolate covered bacon. He said it was good, I refused to try it. |
| Glass bottle Pepsi!!! |
| Moxie- another thing Luke likes and I refuse to drink! |
After Seaside we headed to Cannon Beach to see the Goonie rock, which is actually called Haystack rock. There are amazing tide pools at the base with many starfish, sea urchins, and crabs. The area is protected by the state of Oregon.
After Cannon Beach we went to Ft. Stevens. We saw some great views of the ocean as well as a WWII pacific defense gun battery.
| In front of the Peter Iredale- a ship from the 1900s that ran around and now rests on the ocreanfront. |
| At South Jetty- the western-most point in Oregon |
So many great things to see, I'm sure there are more later tonight and tomorrow!! More posts to follow!
