As a way to document and remember our trips, I'm doing some blogging- dual purposed :-). We'll keep people updated on what we're doing, and we'll remember it, as well!
We flew out of Green Bay on Thursday morning, the day began with a few hiccups, none of which need detail here (or anywhere, really), but by afternoon we were ready to go! Our flights were uneventful, with just a few minute layover in Minneapolis by the time we found our terminal! Arriving in Portland on time, we headed to get our rental car. Luke was really hoping for the Dodge Charger, but we had to settle for an Avenger instead :-(. By this time it was 5:30pm local time, or 7:30pm back home. We then headed north to Seattle, about a 3 hour drive. This made for a REALLY long day!!! We had plans to go to "The Old Spaghetti Factory" for dinner, but that was thwarted by late timing. So, we stopped for Subway instead, arriving at our hotel about 9pm local time. We were pleasantly surprised to find out our hotel room had a kitchen in it, not that we plan on doing much cooking, but the fridge is sure nice! It felt SO great to crash for the night!!!!
